Great happy hour 3-6pm, or 9pm-close, Mon-Fr. Yes, this is a chain restaurant, but the pizza is solid and taps are clean. The bar has quick and friendly service. I'm honestly not sure why the reviews aren't great, this is one of the better options on Mill. Edit to add: Rated 5 stars because of all the options on mill, it's one of the few where you can get 4 draft beers for under $35 with tip and tax!
Tasty mushroom pizza and average wings! Have leftovers -3 of us. Came at bar service only. Fine. They served us to food after ordering at the bar. Super sweet cook! Huge space inside and out to dine and it is very hip!
This was a pretty cool place pizza was good but a little pricey, it's in the heart of Mill Ave. Been here couple times and everytime it's been snow inside almost discouraging to eat at because it's not a very busy place at least everytime I've come. I'm not mad though because service was good.
We had our pre-ASU graduation meal here on a Monday afternoon. It was around 3:30pm and it wasn't very busy. We were a party of eight. We had several pizzas, a burger and the grandson had his wings. Service was prompt and efficient. My small mushroom pizza was more than enough for me. The crust was airy and well spiced and the sauce was not too sweet. Our server Harry was very attentive. He kept our drinks filled and the tables bussed.
The vibe at Mellow Mushroom Tempe is on point. Alyssa is the queen of all of the things to do with beer, cider and spirits! She's the absolute best! The bar is so much fun with a wonderful beer and cider selection.
Back in AZ visiting family. We frequented the Mellow Mushroom in Ahwatukee and was craving some great pizza! Our Airbnb was not far from the Tempe location. Ordered door dash- ordered four pizzas and 20 wings. Pizza was amazing as always! Service was quick for door dash. Hard to beat Mellow Mushroom's flavors and homemade crust. My favorite pizza is the shroom, add sausage- to die for! Wings were perfectly crisp- blue cheese is homemade. Mellow Mushroom is my go to pizza place in AZ.
Great Pizza! Way Better than Spinellis down the opposite way on Mill. Thorough Cooks Great Pizzamakers! Beautiful Servers, Clean and inviting Vibe. I love that they aren't afraid of Urban Culture and Art as seen by the skateboards and Graff Art.
